Ampush is seeking a Lead Front End Engineer who is passionate about building mobile and desktop web applications. 

 
Description:
 
 
We are looking for a well-rounded Front-End Engineer with a great eye for design who has experience building web applications in HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript MVC frameworks and responsive design. As the Ampush Lead UI Engineer you will develop the User Experience and Interface for our AMP product. You’ll be the Lead Front-End Engineer and if your skills and experience are at the level we’d expect, we anticipate building the front-end engineering and UX/UI design team around you.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in building pixel-perfect user interface with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/AJAX and all the latest techniques
  • Proven leadership capabilities and a strong desire to help develop and grow an existing team.
  • Experience building responsive websites using Foundation, or Bootstrap 
  • Proficient with JavaScript, jQuery, and  JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS and single page applications
  • Proficient in package management systems like Bower and JS task runners such as GRUNT
  • Experience with CSS pre-compilers SASS (bonus points with Compass) or LESS
  • Experience with integrating external 3rd party API’s
  • Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability
  • Deep understanding of DOM, XML, and JSON
  • Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git)
  • Experience with front end unit and end-to-end testing
  • An encyclopedic knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
 
Education:
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent  
 
Even Better If You Have:
  • Domain experience in Display Advertising, Native Ad Platforms, or Digital Marketing
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment 
  • Experience working on the large scale JavaScript applications
  • Experience working on a team during implementation and deployment process
