Product Marketing Manager – Personalization

 

The Product Marketing Manager at Acquia is the face of our engagement products team and primary advocate to the market. We are seeking an experienced product marketing rockstar to lead our efforts with our personalization product offerings.

 

This person will help lead cross-functional teams in the development of market positioning, messaging, thought leadership, and collateral for Acquia’s engagement products including Acquia Lift. You will be responsible for evangelizing these products to the market in the form of speaking opportunities, creating thought leadership, hosting webinars and events, briefing customers and analysts, and other communications activities. The role will work closely with executive leadership, vertical marketing owners, and sales to set strategy and deliver these marketing programs.

 

Detailed Responsibilities:

 

  • Development of messaging and positioning for Acquia products, working closely with product management and R&D to translate product capabilities into features and benefits for customers.

  • Work closely with Product Management to perform market research to evaluate potential requirements and shape future product direction.

  • Create compelling content for external and internal stakeholders of the program through various marketing communication channels such as the website, product marketing & sales-enablement literature, newsletters, campaigns, blog posts, etc.

  • Create and deliver customer-facing presentations, including in-person speaking engagements and live webinars.

  • Engage with industry analysts to educate them on Acquia products and research market trends to drive product direction.

  • Work closely with content and public relations team to develop and execute content strategies to generate media / blogger interest in Acquia products.

  • Develop case studies and customer briefs – working with sales and customers to coordinate customer case studies.

  • Train the Acquia sales team on product and solutions capabilities, positioning in the market versus competitors and effective solutions selling strategies.

  • Produce monthly and quarterly reporting of marketing metrics

 

Required background:

 

  • 5 years experience in a product marketing role

  • Specific experience with website personalization, omni-channel personalization, big data marketing, or testing & targeting tools required.

  • Demonstrated track record developing messaging and positioning for web software products, including market research and collateral development.

  • Experience managing marketing activities across multiple software products.

  • Public speaking experience is a must; at both in-person events, including conferences, tradeshows, and developer camps, and online events, specifically webinars and virtual conferences.
