Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will join a growing Accounting and Finance department and serve as the key stakeholder for credit and collection activities.  The Collections Specialist will work closely with our Director of Client Relationships and allow our sales team to focus on bringing in new and maintaining existing business.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, and ensuring compliance with the credit and collections policy
• Collecting receivables from B2B customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Forecasting and reporting on cash receipts using Peachtree
• Monitoring delinquent accounts and referring them to collections agencies as needed
• Completing ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience with API integration of the top tier internet merchant account service providers~.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Minimum of 2 years of B2B credit and collections experience
• Experience creating and monitoring aging reports in Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively
• Knowledge of Peachtree is preferred
