What you’ll do:

  • Work with our Lead Generation team to manage the complete sales process from prospect to close; including cold calling, product demonstrations via Go-to-Meeting, proposals and sales contracts.

  • Consistently meet/exceed sales quota.

  • Immerse yourself in the education technology landscape and product knowledge, and contribute to Schoology’s strategic growth.

  • Occasional travel to trade shows may be required.

Experience & Qualifications you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience selling with a proven track record of success. Experience in the Education market helpful, but not required.

  • Ability to succeed within a high volume sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines and closing business.

  • Consistently described as fast learning, organized and independent.

  • Resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data. Salesforce CRM experience preferred, but not required.

  • Competitive drive to beat targets, positive attitude and incredible work ethic.

  • Top-notch communication, articulation and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • 4-year college degree (BA/BS) required.

  • Flexibility to work on different time zone schedules.
